Description

Valamor 200 mg (ribociclib) is an oral anticancer medicine belonging to the cyclin-dependent kinase 4 and 6 (CDK4/6) inhibitor class. It works by blocking proteins involved in cell division, thereby slowing or stopping the growth of certain cancer cells. It is used in combination with hormonal therapy for the treatment of hormone receptor-positive (HR-positive), HER2-negative breast cancer in eligible patients. Ribociclib is commonly prescribed for advanced or metastatic disease and, in some settings, for selected patients with early breast cancer at high risk of recurrence.
